Dr. Gabrijela Kišiček, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She teaches courses in Rhetoric, History of Rhetoric, Argumentation, Public Speaking Skills, and Nonverbal Communication. Her primary research interests focus on multimodal argumentation, particularly the role of sound in argumentative discourse—auditory arguments—and the rhetoric of political discourse. She is the author of two books, Rhetoric and Politics and Homo Politicus: Political Rhetoric in Theory and Practice, and a co-author of Rhetoric and Society. She is an active member of the Rhetoric Society of Europe and a board member of the Argumentation Community of Europe. She has published more than 30 academic papers on rhetoric and argumentation and has presented at over 20 conferences. In addition to her academic career, she works at Croatia’s national television network, Nova TV, where she frequently appears as a commentator on Croatian political rhetoric in news and current affairs programs.
