Since 2016 she is the founder and President of the Hellenic Institute of Rhetorical and Communication Studies (IRESE in Greek), (https://www.rhetoricinstitute.edu.gr/), which aims at empowering the scientific interest in Rhetoric, Argumentation and Communication both at theory and praxis level in education as well as in various fields of knowledge and action in Greece and abroad. Fotini Egglezou has a B. A. degree in Philosophical-Pedagogical-Psychological Studies and a Master’s degree in Language Arts from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has completed her Ph. D. in Language Arts at the University of Ioannina. The topic of her PhD dissertation touches upon the topic: Teaching the argumentative writing in primary school. Her interest in Public Speaking is also intense. Since 2011 she has been an active member of the international organization for adults’s Τοastmasters which aims at the enhancement of the skills of public speaking and leadership. She is a member of the Rhetoric Society of Europe. She is president of the Greek Toastmasters rhetorical club. She is, also, general secretary of the Union for the Promotion of Rhetoric to Greek Education. Her first book The Teaching of Argumentation: From Oral to Written Speech.
